Tim greets us and welcomes us to the world of protective clothing.  It’s amazing how much effort is taken to make sure that “ALARA” (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) is as close to zero as possible for everyone.

Very carefully get suited up and with a very particular method for safety!

Personnel enter a “suspected” area  (looks clean to the eye, but safety doesn’t allow you to make that assumption ~ remember SAFETY is the first priority !!)

 

Carefully undress in an equally particular method to keep yourself safe and clean.

 

A Scout is Clean !

 

Then you’re checked by a detector just to make sure (again) that you’re still clean… and ultimately that you’re safe.
